Why Obama is the Worst Politician Out There

Okay, so by now we all know (or at least should know) that the state of America’s economy is hanging on a thread.  Congress is going to vote on a bill that would allow America to buy off the bad debt from several large corporations.  While we’re not going into the extreme facistness of this bill, we will talk about how selfish and unAmerican Barack Obama is.  I have lost 95.5% of my respect for the man.  The only respect I now have for him is that he is black and is running for President.  I understand that it takes a lot of courage on his part.  But I’m going to be honest.  It really doesn’t matter to me that he’s black, I couldn’t care less about the color of anyone’s skin.  But there are several Americans who do, and it takes courage to stand up to that.  With that said, let’s get into it.

John McCain is skipping his debate with Obama so that he can vote on this bill that would cost Americans billions (if not trillions, in the long run) of dollars.  Guess what?  Selfish, greedy (and rich, might I add) Obama is bashing McCain for skipping the debate.  I have a question, though, Mr. Obama.  Why aren’t you going to vote?  After all, if you do become President, then this huge responsibilty will be laid on your hands.  You’re telling me you would rather show your deceitful smile on national television in a debate than do your job?

Come on, America, pay attention!  If Obama isn’t going to do his job (which really isn’t hard; they sit down, talk, vote, then take long vacations and other people’s money), why would I vote for him as President?  If he isn’t going to participate in a government that is paying him, why should I participate?  Let me tell you something, Obama doesn’t care about people.  Oh sure, he cares about some people, but he doesn’t care about people like you and me.  All he wants is money.  Guess what.  He has a job (a good paying job).  He doesn’t want to do that job.  He’s a lazy bum.  I don’t care what his younger years were like; he’s not living in his younger years.  He’s living in the here-and-now, just like you and me.  Do our employers care about our previous lives (to some extent, yes)?  To be honest, I really don’t care if he grew up on the west side of Chicago or the east side of LA.  He’s running for President, he needs to start acting like a man, not a spoiled little brat who doesn’t want to clean his room.

“Abortion: the newest trend in skin care”

I’m taking this directly from Lln’s Blog.

“Last week, I went with my mom to her dermatologist appointment. While I was sitting in the office waiting, I picked up a dermatology magazine. On the cover of this magazine was an advertisement for a brand new, age-defying skin treatment. Curious about why something of the sort would be enough to make the cover, I began to read. It did not take me long to get through their tricky language to what was the key ingredient to this anti-aging breakthrough. This key ingredient was the skin tissue of a fetus. I was shocked. Now, not only is abortion now the simplest way to get rid of an unwanted pregnancy; it’s an industry. Now, not only doctors are getting rich by feeding their patients lies; they are getting rich by taking the aborted babies’ skin, putting it into an anti-aging cream, and selling it to women who haven’t quite come to accept the fact that they are getting OLD, and want to keep their skin as wrinkle free as possible for a few more years. Our culture is lying to pregnant mothers, killing babies, feeding the vanity of women, and getting rich! Please tell me that you agree in that this is not right.”

Shocking, isn’t it?

The Beginning of World War 3

This may not be breaking news, but it’s worse than anything else out there.  It seems that, in this article, Russia is responding to the United States providing aid to Georgia.  So, Russia is sending four warships to Venezeula.  The really funny thing (since I’m a humorous person) is that independant military analyst Alexander Golts said that the small Russian squadron poses no threat to the U.S.

What is really disturbing is that Russia has already “signed weapons contracts worth more than $4 billion with Venezuela since 2005,” according to CNN.  This contract includes fighter jets, helicopters, and 100,000 Russian assault rifles.  Hugo Chavez, the dictator of Venezuela, is “in talks” with Russia to purchase Russian submarines, air defense systems, armored vehicles (like tanks and such), and more fighter jets.  So this alliance isn’t commericial or political.  This is a strongly military alliance.  Remember how World War 1 started?  The European countries made strict alliances; if one country went to war, all its allies had to go to war.  I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again.  Russia is steadily returning to its Soviet state.  Think about this direct quote from CNN:

“Dygalo refused to comment on Monday’s report in the daily Izvestia claiming that the ships were to make a stopover in the Syrian port of Tartus on their way to Venezuela. Russian officials said the Soviet-era base there was being renovated to serve as a foothold for a permanent Russian navy presence in the Mediterranean.”

Think about what that’s saying.  If Russia has a permanent naval presence in the Mediterranean, it will be able to receive reinforcements from its future ally Iran (just an educated guess).  Russia will also be able to keep a check on European allies of the United States.  Another benefit is that this naval base isn’t too far from the Mother Country itself.  (By the way, check out the book The Art of War, by Sun Tzu, it’s very interesting).  I’ll leave you with that.

More Pathetic “Science”

This article from Time magazine (online, of course) is about what happens after we die.  This is an extremely scary statement:  “Nowadays, we have technology that’s improved so that we can bring people back to life. In fact, there are drugs being developed right now — who knows if they’ll ever make it to the market — that may actually slow down the process of brain-cell injury and death.”  These scientists are trying to get rid of death.  Let me tell you, to start things off, why death is actually something that is quite necessary.

Picture this:  Hitler is strolling down a pretty little garden comptemplating how to exterminate more Jews.  The year is 2560.  Why?  Because scientists  have developed a drug that slows the decay of time.  Get where I’m going?  People have to have death.  If a human lived forever, then what would be the point of living?  I’ll leave you with that question.

Why, of all things, is science on a blog that is primarily about politics and sports?  Good question.  I don’t really know.  I guess it’s because this really isn’t science at all.  This is people pretending to be scientists.  Allow me to explain.

In the article, Dr. Sam Parnia (the person being interviewed) obviously starts at a presupposition.  Of course, you have to start at some presupposition; it’s just that his is wrong.  Before we go on though, I really have to give credit the writer of the article.  The questions were absolutely unbiased, something that, in today’s world, is a real treat.  So good job.  (For those who don’t know, I am myself a journalist).  But Dr. Parnia is really telling everyone else that they’re wrong.  This really isn’t about death, people.  This is about God vs. the world.  If death isn’t a momentary thing, if people can bring people to life, then why do we need God?  See the point.  While the intentions may be good (which I highly doubt), the results will prove to be disastrous.

Why do we even care what happens after death?  Is that going to help the man in Iran who is getting tortured because he’s a Christian?  Is that going to help the starving childern in Sudan, Nigeria, Ethiopia, and countless other countries?  Is that going to do any good anywhere other than is some liberal country (that pretends to be Christian) where only rich fat people can use it?  No, it won’t.  So, long story short (and to end my rambling) this is an absolute waste of time, money, human skills, human intelligence, electricity, gasoline, natural gas, and space.  In other words, it’s not science.

An Encouraging Step

Remember that savage train wreck near LA, California?  Guess what?  The engineer (if you haven’t previously heard) had been texting instead of doing his job.  Smart, yes?  I wonder (because I don’t know), do you have to have a college degree to be the engineer aboard a train?

In this article from CNN, the California Public Utilities Commission banned texting for employees while on the job.  That is amazing.  Really, it is amazing.  So now engineers won’t run red lights (essentially) because they’re too busy telling some kid how to effectively build his little toy train.  I’m not being sarcastic, I’m really pleased about this.

I just hope that nobody files a lawsuit…

A Major Disappointment

To begin, I must inform you that I am a New England Patriots fan.  Most of you who keep up with the NFL probably already know where I’m going.  The hopes of the season are very much in the balance, as star quarterback Tom Brady is out for the season.

He tore his ACL.  That pretty much means he’s out for the rest of this season, and it might even hamper his future playing ability.  This comes after a heartbreaking loss to the New York Giants and young and up-coming quarterback Eli Manning (yes, for those who aren’t too sports savvy, he’s related to Peyton Manning).  Still, I’m a Pats fan.  Despite the loss, it looks like Mike Cassel  will be able to, though not be able to fill Brady’s shoes, at least lead the team to a decent season.  And let’s be honest.  While Tom Brady is a good QB with plenty of experience, he was surrounded by greatness.  Randy Moss is one of the best wide recievers in the league.  Laurence Maroney can run pretty well.  Kevin Faulk is quick as lightning.  The offensive line can hold up to nigh any defensive line.  Mike Vrabel is crazy strong and take down anyone who gets in his line of sight (he plays outside linebacker, the guys behind the defensive line).  Tedy Bruschi, well, what else needs to be said?  Brandon Meriweather and Lewis Sanders are pretty much unstoppable.

Like my dad says (who is an Oakland Raiders fan, funny, right?) you’re only a fan if you support your team in the bad times, not just when the win the Super Bowl.  That was a paraphrase, dad, I really don’t remember well enough to quote you word-for-word.  But, you know, the Patriots have the won the Super Bowl plenty of times.  Might as well let Peyton try to beat his little brother.

A Problem With Americans

Notice the title says “A Problem With Americans,” not “The Problem With Americans.”  The reason for this is pretty straight-forward.  There are many problems with Americans today; however, I’m only going to touch on one.

I got the privilege (ha) of listening to Bill Clinton speak at the DNC (Democratic National Convention).  The guy was a good speaker, and he still is.  Though something he said just got under my skin and made me realize how warped liberal thinking really is.  He said something to the effect of, though I do not pretend to quote, “Countries have always been more impressed with the power of America’s example rather than the example of America’s power.”  At first glance, that sounds like a senctence to cheer over, but it’s nothing more than a lie.  Think about it.  The power of America’s example.  Did that stop Hitler?  Did that stop Stalin and Lenin?  Heck, did that stop whoever was the Emperor of Japan?  No, it didn’t.  Our example didn’t even impress the Mexicans for crying out loud.  What impressed the nations across the world?  The power of America.  If it wasn’t for the power of America, there wouldn’t a France right now.  There probably wouldn’t be China, Vietnam, North and Sout Korea, Russia, or Britain.  Texas wouldn’t be a state.  Oh, and guess what?  America wouldn’t even be a country.  It reminds of a line from a Pink Floyd song, Wish You Were Here.  “Did you exchange a walk-on role in the war for the lead play in a cage?”  Peace doesn’t come without war.  Plain and simple.

That’s not the problem that I was talking about, however (or I was going to talk about).  The problem with Americans is that they’re lazy.  Why is obesity such a problem?  Because are too stinkin’ lazy to get off their rear ends and actually work!  And even when they do work, they do something so bad that someone else has to come up behind them and fix it.  Of course this doesn’t apply to everyone, not much I can say applies to everyone.  But most Americans are lazy.  Why is that such a problem?  First of all, when you get lazy, you get comfortable, when you get comfortable, you get cocky.  Until 9/11, America was cocky.  Why?  Because after more than 8 years with a pacifistic President (for you alliteration fans out there) who happened to have the name Bill Clinton, Americans didn’t know what war was like.  They were lazy.  And when it happened (9/11), I heard plenty of Americans wanting to go to war.  Now guess what?  Since Americans are lazy, they don’t want to finish the job begun in Afghanistan.  Because Americans are lazy, nobody respects America.

So yeah, I’m going to stop ranting because I can’t think of much else to say.  Don’t worry though, I’ll have plenty more soon.

Russian-Georgian “Conflict”

So, since it can’t be a war, it has to be called something, right?  I mean seriously, this is just a waste of everybody’s time.  We all know that Russia is more powerful than pathetic little Georgia; the funny thing is, the Russians are blaming the whole thing on Georgia.  As if Georgia is really going to attack Russia.  I had formerly held a very low opinion of the former Soviet Union; now, well, let’s just say it got lower.

The main thing behind this whole “conflict” (as if it was a conflict, there was hardly any real fighting) is that Russia is saying “Oh, look at how strong we are.  Ha, yeah, we’re awesome.”  The Russians are pretty much acting like a little three year old.  The U.N. and the Americans have said get out or else.  The Russians are saying “Or else what?”  And it’s a good question.  What is America going to do if Russia doesn’t pull out?  Formerly, in the good old days when America went to war at the slightest provocation, we would have declared war and fought until either the enemy gave up, the enemy died, or the America people died.  Not anymore!  Thanks liberals!  The once feared and respected nation of America is now a mocking ground for petty terrorists and wanna-be superpowers!  All thanks to the likes of Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama!  Let’s negotiate, that’ll work!  Okay, Russia, if you don’t pull out of Georgia, then we’ll talk you to death!

Come on!  That’s pretty stinkin’ ridiculous!  My whole thing, it isn’t even our fight.  Now, if it was the Soviet Union, or a matter of life and death for our allies (WW2), that would be different.  It’s just one big bully picking on a little kid.  So what?  It’s not our fight.  With that said, we’ve already said something, so it’s pretty much become our fight.  Now it’s time to buckle down and say get out or else.  When Russia asks “Or else what?”  We say war to the finish.  America has the greatest Air Force on earth.  Let’s use it.  Bomb the heck out of our enemies.  War’s war, folks, it ain’t pretty.  If these Soviets, sorry, Russians, want to fight, let ‘em fight.  This conflict has some similar with the Boston Tea Party.  When the Sons of Liberty took those rash measures (boarding a ship and tossing crates of tea into Boston Harbor), they sent a comment to England.  They said “All right, baby, let’s take off the gloves, son.  Let’s go, let’s do this thing.”  What did Britain do?  They blockaded Boston Harbor until the tea was paid for.  That’s what America needs to do now.  If Russia wants to fight, let’s fight.

If you would be so kind as to remember, I told you this was going to happen.  I, of course, didn’t know that Russia would wage war (ha) with Georgia.  However, I told you that they would revert back to some Soviet practices, didn’t I?  Go check out my other blog, it’s there.  I don’t remember the title, but the post was about the Russians holding some Soviet-style military parade.  I knew this would happen.  It’s only going to be a matter of time before they fall back into communism.  Putin has been the leader of Russia for how long?  Exactly.  I’m not trying to brag, but I knew would happen.  After the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are over, America is going to war with one of two countries next.  Those countries are Russia and Venezuela.  Hugo Chavez or whatever his name is, thinks that he can embargo the United States.  Ha, that’s a good one.  As if we don’t have allies all over the world.  When the demand for oil starts to become a real crisis, it wouldn’t surprise me a bit if we attacked Venezuela, since they think they can keep oil from us.  Unless of course Barack Obama is president.  Then it would surprise me.

Why Women Shouldn’t Be Presidents

Posted August 10, 2008 by leftback92
Categories: Politics

Let’s just go from a purely Biblical standpoint on this one.  My main objection to having a female president is not because I’m sexist, but because I believe that men are to be the head.  Now, this includes family, church (which is why women shouldn’t be pastors or popes or any other major authority figure in the church), and government.

In the beginning, God gave the instructions for the keeping of the Garden to Adam and Adam only.  He didn’t tell Eve what to do, He told Adam.  This is important, because it tells us that men are the direct stewards of God.  Take for example the Lord of the Rings.  The King of Gondor always has a Steward, who is to rule the kingdom when the King is absent.  Now, God of course isn’t absent, however He has told man to subdue the earth, to rule over the earth.  Why was woman created?  To be the “helper suitable for him [Adam]“  Woman is supposed to help man rule the earth, not vice versa.  That’s why women shouldn’t be presidents, because the man is to be the head of not only the household, but of the government.

This, however, is not to say that women are inferior to men, because they’re not.  Both were created in the image of God.  Paul teaches us that we are one body in Christ.  Men and women are equal, but man is to lead.  An example would be a sports team.  On a sports team, you have captains.  The captains are the leaders of the team.  They are equal by that they are players just the same as the rest of the team, but they carry the burden of leadership.  It’s the same thing.  Men and women are equal, but man is to be the leader, the captain.

Bin Laden’s Driver Sentenced to 5 1/2 Years

Come on, are you really serious?  That is insanely low, I’m not even kidding.  It’s ridiculous.  About the only consolation is that this fiend can be held in Gitmo even after his sentence.  Now, I don’t care if the guy cleaned Bin Laden’s shoes, he’s actively engaging in terrorist activity.  Where there’s terrorists and activity, there’s terrorist activity.  Oh, but the real kicker is this: the guy was charged with 5 counts of providing materialistic support for al Qaeda, but was acquited of the conspiracy charge.  Does that make sense to anyone living on this planet?  As brought up in previous posts, maybe to people who used to live on Mars, but seriously.  Although, liberals have got to be the least rational people I know.  I’mnot saying this in a mean or contemptive attitude.  It’s sad, it really is.  These people don’t think.  Did you know that the world court was attempting to stop the execution of a Mexican (who had crossed the border into Texas) who raped, tortured, and killed two teenage girls?  Did you know that?  The world court did that.  Thankfully, the man was executed, but still.  All I have to say is this, and I’m being absolutely serious, thank the Lord for Texas.  It is a consolation that Texas still upholds justice.  This Mexican killed Americans, he should be punished for killing Americans, and the proper punishment for murdering anyone is death.  So this Mexican was put to death.

This news is disheartening (getting back to Bin Laden’s driver).  If we were in World War Two, and this was Hitler’s driver, he would be sentenced to death.  What’s the difference, huh?  What’s the difference between Bin Laden and Hitler?  Both were responsible for the killing of Americans, we’re at war with both, so what’s the difference?  I’ll tell you what the difference is.  Liberalism, that’s the difference.
